ABC-Development, in collaboration with partners WESOFOD and KADDRO, conducted a joint monitoring visit to communities in Mathuraneh, Kamaranka, Maselleh, Banka, and Matemie as part of ongoing monitoring and accountability activities under the ICSP/MASIDAMA Project.

The monitoring exercise was designed to assess progress and the quality of project implementation at community level, while providing an opportunity for the project team and partners to engage directly with beneficiaries and community stakeholders.

During the visits, the team reviewed the implementation of planned interventions and assessed the extent to which project activities are contributing to the intended outcomes. Discussions with community members also provided an opportunity to understand their experiences, achievements, concerns, and priorities for additional support.

Community feedback formed an important part of the exercise. Beneficiaries and stakeholders shared their perspectives on the relevance of project interventions, progress made, challenges encountered, and areas requiring further attention.

For ABC-Development, community-level monitoring is an essential component of effective project implementation. It helps ensure that interventions remain responsive to community needs while strengthening transparency, accountability, learning, and evidence-based decision-making.

The joint exercise also strengthened coordination between ABC-Development, WESOFOD, and KADDRO, creating an opportunity for partners to jointly reflect on implementation progress, identify challenges, and agree on areas requiring follow-up.

Following the monitoring visits, key observations and recommendations were documented to inform subsequent project implementation and improvement.

The successful exercise reinforces ABC-Development’s commitment to accountable, transparent, participatory, and community-responsive programming.

Through regular monitoring and engagement with communities, ABC continues to promote stronger implementation practices and ensure that project interventions remain focused on delivering meaningful results for the communities they serve.
