ABC Development Strengthens Collaboration at IMNCHN Project Implementation Workshop in Bo

The ABC Development team joined consortium partners and key stakeholders in Bo on 12 and 13 August 2026 for a two-day IMNCHN Project Implementation Arrangement Workshop, aimed at strengthening coordination, collaboration and effective delivery of project activities.
The workshop provided an important platform for consortium partners to come together, introduce their respective organizations and build a shared understanding of the project’s implementation arrangements, scope and expectations.
The two-day engagement covered several key areas, beginning with the introduction of consortium partners, which allowed participating organizations to better understand their respective roles, capacities and contributions to the implementation of the project.
Participants also reviewed the scope of work, target communities and implementation approaches. Discussions focused on ensuring that project interventions are appropriately aligned with the needs of targeted communities and that partners have a common understanding of how activities will be implemented.
A major component of the workshop was the discussion on stakeholder engagement, expectations, collaboration structures and communication channels. Participants emphasized the importance of effective coordination and timely communication among consortium partners and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and avoid duplication of efforts.
The workshop also featured group work sessions where participants identified key project risks and potential bottlenecks that could affect implementation. Groups proposed practical mitigation measures and action points to address the identified challenges.
Participants further engaged in discussions on activity alignment, examining how planned activities could be coordinated to maximize impact and ensure that project interventions complement one another.
The group work findings were subsequently presented to all participants for discussion and validation. The presentations provided an opportunity for partners to review the proposed recommendations, provide inputs and reach a common understanding on priority actions moving forward.
The two-day workshop concluded with a renewed commitment among consortium partners to strengthen collaboration, maintain effective communication and work collectively toward achieving the objectives of the IMNCHN project.
For ABC Development, the engagement represented an important opportunity to contribute to a coordinated implementation process while strengthening relationships with consortium partners and other stakeholders.
